Welcome/welcome back to the blog! Ah, I'm so hyped for today's post! Today we're talking about the wonderful Dude Trips. I think at this point we all know I have a lot of love for Dude Trips, they just never disappoint. Well, they blessed our ears with an EP on Friday, and of course, I'm here to bring you a review of it! Now, we have reviewed 2 of the tracks on this EP previously, so as usual, I don't go into full detail about my thoughts on the tracks as there's a full review already up on the blog. Anyway, let's get into talking about this EP. The EP opens with Leaving, this is a very short track with a listening time of just over a minute. Now, although this is very much just an intro track, it's still beautiful. I think this is a fantastic opening track to the EP, and it's lovely. I really like it, there's not much to be said about it because it is just a short intro track, but it's still good, and I'm definitely a fan of it. Next up comes Evergreen. I did a full review of this track, and ever since I first heard it, I loved it. I gave it a 5 out of 5 lemons when I first reviewed it, and my opinion on the track is very much the same as it was then. However, I think I love the track even more now. I do reach for this track a fair bit, and it's just such a great track. It's a belter. It's got everything you'd want in it, and I truly just think this is a magnificent track. This is honestly such a surreal track and one that if you haven't heard already, you really should change that, because it's great, and it's also really catchy. The third track is 1964. This is another incredible track. This is a lot softer and calmer compared to the previous track, but it's very reminiscent of Through Love & Death for me, I think this is a beautiful track, but it does offer a softer listening experience. I think this is another wonderful song and it's definitely not like the previous tracks on the EP. I think this is a wonderful track, and that tempo change is extraordinary. I love that, and I think that's part of the reason I'd compare this track to Through Love & Death. This is honestly just such an incredible track. Polola follows on, and this is another extraordinary track. I love the whole feel and vibe of this track, and this is more comparable to Evergreen, but it's also got a faster feel to it. It does pack that same sort of punch though, and it's just incredible. I love everything about this track, and this may be my favourite track off of the EP. That's saying something considering how much I loved Evergreen, but this track is just next level. I love everything about this track, from the vocals to the drums, and everything in between. This is such a surreal track, and it gives me that euphoric feeling. I love this track, and this is a track to blast on the highest volume possible and scream to. This really is a surreal track and a stand out track on the EP. To say the track is nearly 4 minutes long it didn't lose my attention once, and I really do think this is a wonderful track. Definitely one worth checking out. The penultimate track is Stay. This track has a very similar sound and feel to it as Evergreen. It's a slightly slower pace than Polola, but it's still just as good. It's got everything you could want from it and more. I love that this is still a pretty intense track but still sounds a bit different to the other tracks we've heard on the EP. I really like it though, I think this is another extraordinary track and I'd highly recommend it. I think this is such an incredible track, and the lyrics are top-notch. I love everything about this track, and I'd highly recommend it. It's just insane. Honestly, Dude Trips have done a great job with this song! The last track on the EP is the other single that was released, which is Gentle. I did a full review of this track, and I loved it. It's a lot softer and more gentle compared to the likes of Evergreen, Polola and even Stay, but it's insane. This is a magnificent track. I much prefer Gentle now compared to when it was released, it just fits so perfectly as the closing track on the EP. It's a classic, soft, Dude Trips track, but it still packs a punch. It's definitely a decent track, and I think this is the sort of track that was missing from the EP. It's something that we'd all expect from Dude Trips, but it is just a bit different compared to the previous tracks. I still love it though, and I would highly recommend it. It's a great track, and it really does just add that finishing touch to the EP. In conclusion, I love this EP. I think it's beautiful. From start to finish, it's incredible. Every track serves a purpose on the EP, and this EP just hits the spot. I cannot recommend listening to You Are The Reason I Hate Leaving enough. It's just incredible, and I love all 6 tracks of this EP so much. Honestly, please go check out this EP. It's insane. This truly is in the running for EP of the year. I love every second of this EP, and it really is just incredible. I'd have to give it a solid 5 out of 5 lemons without a doubt because it's just THAT good! It's truly incredible, and I cannot recommend you checking it out enough! So, please, if you haven't heard You Are The Reason I Hate Leaving yet, then please, go check it out and give it a listen.
