Welcome/welcome back to the blog! Today we’re going to be talking about another artist I’ve never featured before. Today’s artist is Tony Meade. Now, a couple of weeks ago I got an email from Tony sending me a submission and all that, and we know what I’m like at this point, I try and accept every single submission that lands in my inbox. Anyway, let’s get into this post.
The track we’re going to be talking about is Beautiful Child. Now, okay, let’s start off by saying this isn’t a sound I listen to that much anymore. It’s got old school, classic rock vibes to it. It’s got those elements that are comparable to 80s rock. I’m not opposed to it, and 80s rock is what really got me into music, but it’s just not a sound I gravitate towards anymore. This is a great track though, I love the whole feel and vibe of it. I think it’s got some incredible musical elements to it, and it’s defiantly a track that a lot of people would find enjoyment in.
From listening to it, I wouldn’t really say there’s much I can point fault at, like everything good on it. It’s got so many great elements to it, it’s just not my favourite sound anymore. I still like it, but nowadays I do prefer something with a bit more of a fast paced kick to it. It’s still a good song though, and I am pretty impressed with it. It’s not a bad track in any respect but yeah, if you like music with old school rock vibes to it, then this may be a great track for you. However, keep in mind when I say old school, like 70s and 80s rock I mean soft rock. This isn’t a heavy track in any respect, but it’s still a good track.
I’m not saying I’m in love with the track, as it’s more of a soft rock track, with a more ballad like feel to it, which there’s a lot of options for if that’s the sort of music you wanna listen to. However, I do still like the track and I think it’s a decent enough track. If this is the sort of thing you like listening to then I’d recommend checking it out, if you like music with a bit more of a kick to it though, it’s maybe not for you. Overall I’d probably go with a 4 out of 5 lemon rating. It’s decent enough, but something I’d only listen to if I was in the mood for it.
