Insomnia by Light Grey
Welcome/welcome back to the blog! As promised, multiple blog posts this week, so today we are talking about Insomnia by our wonderful Irish friends in Light Grey. It feels like forever since we spoke about this lovely lot, but they’ve been out there killing it recently. Super proud of everything they’re doing currently, so let’s see if Insomnia is as good as expected.
Insomnia had my attention from the get so, there’s that almost electronic feel to the track, but this track really grabbed my attention. I genuinely think this might be my second favourite Light Grey song, and I just love it. It has a listening time of just over 2 minutes, but holy shit does it go hard. There’s some nice little tempo changes, and the slight rough vocals is where it’s at. There’s just something about this track that i adore. It’s got that little extra spice that I make tracks stand out to me. There’s just something about this track that has me hooked, and I know for a fact, this is going to be in heavy rotation for me.
There aren’t even enough words in the English language to explain how insane this track is, but it is, insane. Phenomenal, mind-blowing. It’s catchy, it packs a punch, short and sweet, but everything about this track is just a big yes from me. I also love the lyrics to this track, and just everything, Every element of this track hits the spot for me, and I just adore it. This is everything I could have hoped it would be and more, and if you haven’t gave it a listen yet, then please go and change that. Because, genuinely, holy shit. This track is incredible. This track almost isn’t long enough, because I just need more of it, but that just gives me an excuse to listen to it more.
I love this track, and it’s truly everything I could have hoped it would be and more. The intro of the track almost gives me I Prevail vibes, and I just love this track. Every second of it held my attention, and I know for a fact, I will be listening to this track a lot. I don’t want to be talking too much about 2024 Lemon Awards, but you know, there’s a possibility we could see this beauty of a track making the list. It’s just insane. I’m here for it, and I just adored every second of it. Please, go and give it a spin if you haven’t already, because it just exceeds all expectations, and it really gripped my attention.
Overall, a solid 5 out of 5 lemons for this track. Without a doubt, this is a 5 out of 5 lemons track, and I’m here for it. Light Grey absolutely blew me away with this one, and they definitely exceeded all expectations that I had for this track. You need to give this track a listen if you haven’t already.
